Hi Adrian,
I just saw this posting of yours. Sorry for the late response. All the pictures from election night were taken with a Canon 5D with a 35mm 1.4 lens. It's a great camera and a replacement model called the mark ii is shipping now. Good luck.

I am impressed with Your photos, peter - can you tell me which camera/lens/film you used for them? I am thinking of buying a digital camera which will be good for up to 6400 iso, but what is your opinion - is digital as good as film yet, or is it better, or what is your feeling?
I hear that digital camera seem to need as accurate exposure as slide film, and so are not so forgiving of wrong exposure, but I wondered if I took them on Raw, with lowest contrast, and then chased the contrast/saturation after taking, would they be better or rather reproduce better images, or what?
It is no good asking the camera firms, they are only selling what they want now in my opinion
thanks
