Peter van Agtmael

After receiving a Charles P. Howland grant to go to China to document consequences of the Three Gorges Dam, van Agtmael covered the Asian tsunami, AIDS in Africa and the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. He became a Magnum nominee in 2008.
