It is an amazing piece of work and a stuggle to view. It is almost like being there and that makes it so difficult to experience, but it screams out to be seen, heard and experienced! Thank you for creating it and sharing it with the World. It is very thought provoking and draws the viewer right into the "moment". It is a great photo essay that should be seen by every American with an intelligent mind and a caring Soul.

I can't remember a time when I've been more moved. I don't believe we should be in the Middle East but I support our troops. Unless you've been in a war zone, I don't think you can begin to appreciate what the troops deal with on a daily basis until you see this; a small insight to the horrors and tragedies of war. God Bless all our military men and women and their families.

For an additional take on the banal horrors of what really happens in a war, I recommend Michael Kamber's New York Times photo essay (with voice-over) on the 10th Mountain Division. When will our so-called leaders ever learn to be wiser in their negotiations and dealings with other cultures, if only so that our (and their) innocent and inexperienced young men and women won't have to die or suffer horrendously and needlessly?
