Point and Shoot
Philip Jones Griffiths
The sleek perfection of the German Luger compared to the crude British Sten gun. I fired all of them. That was all a long time ago. In retrospect it was a form of catharsis. I became a pacifist dedicated to non-violence.
I also have a general disdain for war and its consequences. However, your comments on the photographs seem to show a rather one-sided bias. That should not be the case, in my opinion.

superb photographic essay. It is somewhat biased in it's presentation. Remember, it's not the ordinary foot soldier that causes all this mayhem.

These are some of the finest COMBAT PICTURES, reminiscent of "Capra".

And your point is? Guns don't kill people.....people kill people. Btw, 'nam wasn't sanyone but the governments fault. Jefferson reccomended that the USA not get entangled with european alliances and look what happened. The USA entering europe in ww1/2 was a mistake, cuz now we have bleeding hearts like yourself wanting their freedom taken away. O, wait - you never had any in the first place. Peasants w/out guns=no freedom.
