In 2005, I went to Nepal to photograph Nepal's Maoists rebels. Lodged in their mountain safe areas, they had already fought a decade long insurgency against the Kathmandu-based establishment.

I would like to thank Jonas Bendiksen for such mind boggling documentary. i had been to Nepal July 2007 and the feeling i experienced seeing a country in its greatest transition ever was really stirring. i felt that same blood boiling feeling towards the authorities, seeing his photographs of the abominable condition of common people living in the rural areas. the documentary truly makes one "feel" . thank you for such great work.
