Malaria
Chien-Chi Chang
Each year 350 to 500 million people are diagnosed with Malaria. This essay documents the life and struggles of africans affected by the disease and the tangible steps people are taking to eradicate it.
Congratulations, Chien-Chi on the malaria pictures. They are very fine photographys and a pleasure to see.

Outstanding work: an excellent use of color* within strong compositions, capturing expressive faces and gestures for an extremely important cause. Congratulations. (And nice to see the "In Motion" portion of this site back in motion.)
*In an earlier blog entry I'd questioned Chien-Chi Chang's use of color -- contending that he'd be better in black-and-white. It was an impetuous judgment; I stand corrected.
